Hunger Solutions 

Their core programs connect hungry residents with resources to put food on the table today while also helping to find long-term solutions to hunger. Hunger Solutions support Minnesota’s food shelves and connect them with resources to serve their clients. They manage the Market Bucks program that helps SNAP customers double their buying power at farmers markets and through the Minnesota Food HelpLine they help connect hungry Minnesotans with resources like SNAP, food shelves, farmers markets, meal programs, and discount grocery programs.

VEAP

VEAP is a basic needs and social services organization whose programs promote access to healthy foods, stable housing and other supportive services. VEAP’s Food Pantry services include a five-day supply of food which includes non-perishable food, protein, fresh vegetables, fruit and dairy.

FARE For All

Fare For All is a great way to save money on quality, nutritious food. They buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and frozen meat in bulk to save you up to 40% off grocery store prices. They select the best food from our shipments, pre-packaging it to give you the best deals. Fare For All is community supported and open to everyone- there are no qualifications to participate. Fare For All has 38 locations throughout Minnesota where our food packages are sold once per month.

Center for Asians and Pacific Islanders CAPI

Since 1982, CAPI’s Asian-specific food shelf has been meeting the cultural and nutritional needs of approximately 450 low-income Asian families/2,000 individuals each month. This program provides a total of 450,000 pounds of food per year. CAPI provides referrals to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and assistance with Food Stamp Application for individuals and families

Little kitchen Food Shelf 

Little Kitchen Food Shelf serves over 1,000 individuals per month. They also grow produce in 8 raised-bed gardens, and take produce donations from local gardeners. They serve everyone who comes to their doors because they are a no-boundaries, no-restrictions food shelf. They do not require identification, proof of address or proof of family size. They are uniquely able to serve people who are homeless, who move frequently, or are recent immigrants. 

The Aliveness Project

The Aliveness programs provides an onsite meal program that serves 10 meals per week, a food shelf, medical nutritional therapy and nutritional counseling for individuals who are infected with HIV/AIDS. 

Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes is a free meal program providing thousands of meals daily, across Minnesota. The organization provides home-cooked meals daily at dining site locations. Many dining sites are partnered with local groups that routinely offer non-food items like personal hygiene products, coats, mittens, socks and other items. 

CEAP provides fresh produce, including vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy and Non-perishable items to individuals facing hunger once per month. They also provide personal hygiene items, or diapers/wipes/formula/baby food.

Provisions Community Restaurant provides "family styled" meals around a community table. They also provide hunger solutions through their Harvest Program.

The Hallie Q. Brown Community Food Shelf offers dry goods, canned items, fresh produce, fresh bread, personal hygiene products, pet food, and other culturally specific items. Their client-choice model allows community members to select the items which align with their dietary restrictions.
